How long does GST registration take?

After submission of the application with all documents, the GST officer must either approve or raise queries within 7 working days (3 days if Aadhaar authentication is done). Approval typically comes within 5–7 days.
Can I have multiple GSTINs?

Yes. You must obtain a separate GSTIN for each state in which you have a place of business or supply goods/services. Within a state, you can also opt for multiple registrations for separate business verticals.
What documents are required for GST registration?

PAN of the business entity, Aadhaar of authorised signatory, proof of principal place of business (electricity bill/rent agreement), bank account statement or cancelled cheque, and photograph of the authorised signatory.
